◎簡 介
經歷生死的凱特尼斯（詹妮弗·勞倫斯 Jennifer Lawrence 飾）和皮塔（喬什·哈切森 Josh Hutcherson 飾）得到了74屆饑餓遊戲冠軍享有的一切待遇，但是兩人的關系變得很尷尬，凱特尼斯無法放下昔日男友蓋爾（利亞姆·海姆斯沃斯 Liam Hemsworth 飾），甚至還想要跟他遠走高飛。凱特尼斯和皮塔越來越受到人民的歡迎，加上他倆假扮情侶的事情激怒了斯諾總統（唐納德·薩瑟蘭 Donald Sutherland 飾），他聯合新的遊戲設計師（菲利普·塞默·霍夫曼 Philip Seymour Hoffman 飾）開展了25年一屆的“世界級限賽”，要求抽出12個區的歷屆男女冠軍各一人參加，旨在殺死凱特尼斯。皮塔為了保護凱特尼斯，代替黑密曲（伍迪·哈里森 Woody Harrelson 飾）參賽，一對“戀人”又踏上了征程。在賽事中二人結交了不同區的盟友，同時皮塔繼續對凱特尼斯表露真情，而她對皮塔的態度也有所變化，可惜事情並不像他們想象的一樣，等待他們的只有陰謀。
