內容簡介

作者介紹
布蘭登•莫里斯（Brandon Q. Morris）

1966年8月26日生於德國盧肯瓦爾德。物理學家、太空專家、德國暢銷科幻作家，美國科幻和奇幻作家協會、火星協會的成員。著有二十多部太空背景的硬科幻小說，版權銷售美英法等多國，歐美市場銷售量超百萬冊。《牧羊人1號》為其最暢銷的代表作。 莫里斯曾多次作為嘉賓出席法蘭克福書展、萊比錫書展等歐美各大書展。2016年應德國圖書中心邀請參加舉辦於北京的故事驅動中國（Story Drive China）活動。

布蘭登•莫里斯長期以來一直關注太空問題，無論是在專業方面還是在私人方面。雖然他想成為一名宇航員，但由於各種原因，他不得不留在地球上。他對“可能性”特別著迷，旨在通過他的書享引人注目的硬科幻故事——這些故事確實有發生的可能性，也許就會在某一天發生。

Brandon Q. Morris, pseudonym of Matthias Matting, born 28 August 1966 in Luckenwalde (East Germany),is a German writer of hard science-fiction.

Brandon Morris 這個名字是菜市仔名，洋人的世界很多都取這個同名同姓的名字，人物從藝術家到演員都有！
。Morris大叔的名氣在虫之囶甚大，很多小孩從小就成了他的鐵粉！不過，在鬼之島、知曉他名字與著作的鄉佬
可真是寥寥可數了！(只有理科男或理科女才會去讀他的小說吧！)長期以來，不少硬派科幻作品存在「着重科技
奇技描寫而輕忽人物性格塑造」的弊病。不過，就作者的說法：《牧羊人1號》除了有科幻的成分，但仍注重人物
特色的描寫，畢竟地球上人類的性別有男有女，皆是有血有肉的人物，在破解了種種疑團之後，最終走向了一個
